Author Guidelines

1. Manuscript submitted for JCS should be original and not submitted anywhere else.
2. Submit your article online on our website.
3. Articles must be submitted along with Originality Declaration Form available for download on site
4. Book Reviews of recent books by scholars of  their field may comprise 1100-1200 words, the book title, the author, publisher, year and pages of the book

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • Manuscript submitted for JCS should be original and not submitted anywhere else.
  • A short bio with current designation, institutional affiliation and email address at the beginning of the document.
  • Article length: 5500-7000 words, with an abstract of about 150 words.
  • Chicago Manual of Style 16th Edition Footnotes.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format.
  • Similarity Index must not exceed 19% overall and 4% from a single source.
  • Authors are also required to submit article along with their brief bio: designation, institutional affiliation and email (MS Word format) along with a Signed Originalty Delcaration on editorjcs@ndu.edu.pk.
  • Collaborative submissions should not exceed 2 authors.

Plagiarism Policy

JCS follows the policies of HEC regarding plagiarism and similarity index and uses Turnitin Originality Report software.
